Reminder : Progressive Outdoor Swim (POS)

Just a friendly reminder about CA’s very first POS session tomorrow, 6th February 2010. It will be my first after several months hibernating

Corporate Athletes are inviting friends and swimmers out there to train-swim together, especially those who are attempting the 6.8km International Kapas-Marang Swimathon coming 18 April 2010. There are no charges/fees for this POS as this is a just get-together training sessions. Therefore, you must be fully responsible of your own safety and aware of the risk, hazard and danger that this sport poses. Corporate Athletes is not liable for any untoward incident or loss.
Also, please take note that this POS is not necessarily for those competing in the swimathon only, but is also opened to those who want to venture into long-distance swimming. However, you need to attest that you are physically fit to take part in these sessions.

POS 1 : 06 February 2010 (Saturday)/ Distance 1.0km

POS 2 : 13 February 2010 (Saturday) / Distance 1.5km

POS 3 : 20 February 2010 (Saturday) / Distance 2.0km

POS 4 : 27 February 2010 (Saturday) / Distance 3.0km

POS 5 : 7 March 2010 (Sunday Openwater Swim – see below) / Distance 2.0km

POS 6 : 20 March 2010 (Saturday) / Distance 4.okm

POS 7 : 27 March 2010 (Saturday) / Distance 5.0km

POS 8 : 3 April 2010 (Saturday) / Distance 6.0km
Training Location : Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur
Start Time : 0800hr (finish time varies – depending on the swimming distance)
Note : To those who wish to run first, there’s a Bukit Jalil Park nearby, offering approximately 4km of trail per loop.
My dear friend Kash is also planning for a Group Openwater Swim at Port Dickson a week after POS4. The details are as follows:
